Nick has been a Conservative Party member for twenty years. He returned to Doncaster after graduating from the University of Reading. He completed an MA in history in 2013. He was elected to Doncaster Council in 2015 as the first Conservative councillor for Bessacarr ward in nearly a generation. He was re-elected in 2017 and again in 2021.
